One of the top tourist destinations in the Philippines, Boracay is known for its idyllic white sand beaches, smaller islands, breathtaking sunsets, exciting water activities, and vibrant nightlife. It’s understandable why the island draws tens of thousands of tourists to the Philippines each year. Everyone aspires to experience the coveted beach life in Boracay. Here are my 5 things to do in Boracay recommendations.

Explore White Beach

White Beach, a long stretch of beachfront lined with Boracay resorts and diners, is the center of Boracay’s fame throughout the world. The Boracay scenic beach trip is the most well-known activity on the island, so it makes sense that White Beach would be the most crowded location. Beyond the undeniable allure of the stunning white sand and glistening turquoise waters, White Beach is a short distance from everything you require. 

There are three stations along White Beach: 1, 2, and 3. The most lavish resorts on Boracay can be found in Station 1. Businesses, mid-priced hotels, and the starting point for water sports can all be found in Station 2 while Station 3  has affordable hotels and a calm and quiet atmosphere.

Experience exciting water activities

When visiting Boracay, you must engage in some of these highly suggested water activities. 

Ride on a banana boat 

Ride on a large, yellow, inflatable banana boat. It has a capacity of 10 to 20 people. The inflatable boat is attached to a speedboat and launched into the water once everyone is prepared and wearing a life vest. Maintaining your balance while the speedboat makes turns is the main highlight of this activity.

Jetski

Try the thrilling jet ski ride while visiting Boracay! It typically lasts about  30 minutes. Don’t worry, you will receive the necessary instructions on how to operate it. It’s a wonderful way to see the island!

Paddleboarding

If you want to learn how to maneuver a board while touring Boracay’s well-known beaches, you can rent one or sign up for a paddleboarding excursion. Additionally, it’s a great way to work on your balance.

 Paraw Sailing

Sailing on the Boracay paraw is a classic Boracay activity. Paraw is a Filipino word that can be translated as a variety of double-outrigger sailboats, the traditional method of getting around Boracay and the nearby islands. A unique way to experience Boracay is to go paraw sailing. It is strongly advised to set sail just before dusk!

Crystal Kayak

Nothing is trendier in travel pictures of Boracay than the crystal kayak. In a transparent kayak, the turquoise waters of Boracay can be fully appreciated. Tourists in Boracay now frequently take pictures as they board the crystal kayak as proof of their visit to the island.

Visit Diniwid Beach to view the sunset 

In contrast to White Beach, Diniwid Beach is calm and exudes the same tropical charm. Located north of White Beach, it is just a stone’s throw if you are in station 1. Given that it is far from the tourists and commercial activity of the well-known White Beach, it is a great place to watch the sunset. You can stroll along the beach, go swimming in the crystal-clear water, or take pictures with the sunset as your background.

Shop and dine at D’Mall 

D’Mall is an open-air mall in station 2  that houses everything from food carts to numerous gift shops and ATMs. There are three sections: Main Street, the local market, and the beach. 

Main Street: The majority of the pharmacies, money exchanges, and ATMs can be found here. 

The local market: You can find small stalls selling fruits, local dishes, and arts.

The beach: You can find the majority of diving and swimming shops here.

Aside from D’mall, there are numerous places  In the city where you can also find restaurants, ATMs, and shops.
